Everyone - Charlotte Newman, Chairperson
The Something for
Everyone group is our major activity for adults and older adults and
is very active.
The Activities for the
2015 are as follows:
January - No activity this month.
February-
No activity this month.
March 3rd - "Marvelous March"
(at the church). Our theme
will be the seasons of the year with foods from every season and the
tables will be decorated for each season of the year.
April 7th - Whitwell, TN -
We will visit the Buttonwillow Civil
War Dinner Theater in Whitwell, TN. You are invited to step back
into 1864 and experience Southern history and Southern food the way
it was. After dinner which would have been served at the Confederate
White House, you will enjoy the production of "Granddaddy's Watch".
May 4th-8th -
Spring Trip to Michigan -
Highlights include visits to the
Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield village in Dearborn, the Holland
Tulip Festival, the Volksparade, Windmill Island Gardens, Veldherr
Tulip Gardens, Deklomp Wooden Shoe Factory and more in Holland
Michigan.

August 4th - Smith Family Theatre,
Pigeon Forge, TN
September 1st - Celebrating the
American Hot Dog -
Did you know that 7 billion hot dogs
are consumed between Memorial Day and Labor Day? That's 818 hot dogs
per second. You'll be just in time to consume your share of hot dogs
before Labor Day on September 7. Come with a hearty appetite as we
dress our "dogs" Southern style. In Wattenbarger Hall.
October 6th - Merceir's Apple House in Blue Ridge, Ga. -
This is a favorite trip for a lot of
you. We will eat again at the Southern Charm Restaurant where we
dined a couple of years ago. After lunch we will have plenty of time
to purchase our apples and fried pies before returning home.
November 3rd - TBA
December 1st - "My Favorite
Things" ...Brown paper
packages tied up with string - These are a few of my favorite
things..Join us as we celebrate our "favorite things" in
Wattenbarger Hall.
1st week in December - Trip to
Lancaster, PA to see the "Miracle of Christmas"
at the Sight and Sound
Theater. Exact dates to be announced as soon as available.
